OVERVIEW

A Master in Computer Science can open doors to many new and exciting jobs.

Take your education one step further with the online Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data and get the best possible preparation to access bottleneck professions that are in high demand.

eBIHAR curriculum is structured around four main blocks of professional IT skills :

  • Big Data Engineering : collection, processing, storage and utilisation of large volumes of data in Big Data environments.
  • Artificial Intelligence Engineering : design and implementation of AI solutions based, in particular, on machine learning and deep learning.
  • Full-Stack Application Development : development of web and mobile applications incorporating artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Cloud Architectures & Cybersecurity
This online course from the Ecole Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA) is done in partnership with Datum Academy, France Université Numérique (FUN), Oracle University, and Google Cloud.

The training enables you to acquire the theoretical and practical skills companies, learn more about Artificial Intelligence and Big Data through academic and Big Data through academic concepts and methods to industrial tools.

An internship is mandatory: an assignment in a company must be at least 4 months long. It can start between the beginning of April and the end of June. The oral defense will take place towards the end of September. A minimum 4-month mission in a company/research laboratory must be validated, the type of contract is not important. A report is also required on this project.

COURSES

The MSc eBIHAR comprises 13 academic modules taught by lecturers from the ESTIA engineering school, as well as industry-led modules delivered in partnership with Oracle University. Each academic module is divided into 6 or 7 units, each of which is taught over the course of a week (≈ 5 hours of study per week).

All academic courses are offered as MOOC videos, giving you complete flexibility in your learning journey.

Academic courses are delivered on the Moodle platform. You will find instructional videos, downloadable course materials and detailed case studies. This format is designed to help you easily grasp the concepts and apply them in real-world projects.

Oracle courses are accessible directly on the Oracle MyLearn platform. They include interactive videos and resources specifically designed to prepare you for the associated certifications. Oracle courses are in English, with the interface partially translated into French depending on the module.

The programme is organised into four skill blocks. For each block you will find the eBIHAR academic courses with their modules and workload, followed by the corresponding Oracle industrial courses with their duration and certification.

FAQ

The eBIHAR Oracle track gives access to the Oracle University learning paths (MyLearn platform) associated with each skill block. Depending on the module, Oracle courses and certifications are free or paid (about 245 USD per exam), paid directly to Oracle. The Master enrollment fees cover the ESTIA / Datum Academy academic support and access to the university courses.
Employees can receive financial support from their employer (skills development plan, continuing-education funding).
You can request a course transfer (with supporting evidence) on your application form, or submit your Oracle certificate if you already have it. If this is your case, feel free to contact us!
To submit an application, start by creating an account on our website by clicking the “Apply” button. After creating your account, you will be automatically redirected to a page where you can fill in all the required information. You can return to your application at any time by logging into your account via the “Login” button.
To be eligible, you must hold a Master 1 (first year of a Master's) or a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Candidates holding a Master's in another field cannot, unfortunately, be considered  eligible, as the programme requires advanced knowledge acquired the previous year in computer science.
Once your application is submitted on our website, a jury meets to assess it. You will receive the response by email, whether positive or negative. If positive, you will receive a link to pay your tuition fees. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours, along with your access to the learning platforms. Your certificate of enrollment will be sent a few days later by ESTIA.
The online programme can be considered more demanding than the residential one, as students must show learning autonomy. For an academic course, each weekly module (1 to 2 hours online) requires about 5 hours of student work, i.e. roughly 10 hours of activity per week for 2 courses taken in parallel.
Of course! All our programmes, including the MSc eBIHAR, are open to everyone, regardless of your nationality or place of residence. That's the magic of distance learning.
Quelle est la configuration minimale requise pour accéder aux plateformes ?
If you choose to pay in 3 installments, you will be charged once a month, on the same day, starting from the first payment. For example: if you make your 1st payment on September 1st, you will be charged on October 1st for the 2nd installment and November 1st for the 3rd.
Each MOOC module is tutored both peer-to-peer within the students' social network (FUN MOOC platform) and through a weekly 2-hour video chat with the professor in charge of the course. On the Oracle University platform, you can contact your instructor using the “Ask instructor” tool on your course page. And of course, the Datum Academy team is always available to support you!
No. The diploma does not carry an “online” mention, as both diplomas (online and on-site) have exactly the same value in terms of teaching and ECTS credits awarded.
No, there will be no graduation ceremony.
